Fidelity Crypto sets a maximum daily withdrawal limit of $25,000 in crypto value per person for advanced accounts. The standard limit is even lower: $2,000 per day. For someone holding, say, $500K in Bitcoin, moving it all off the platform would take a minimum of 20 days at the highest tier, and 250 days at the standard level. The math gets uncomfortable fast At Bitcoin’s current prices, a single coin is worth well north of $100K. So even the advanced $25,000 daily cap means a holder of just one Bitcoin would need multiple days to fully withdraw their position. Reddit communities have surfaced these concerns repeatedly, with users describing the feeling of having large Bitcoin positions effectively “trapped” behind Fidelity’s daily caps. The platform does support on-chain Bitcoin withdrawals and deposits in eligible states, but Fidelity itself emphasizes in its disclosures that on-chain Bitcoin transfers, once initiated, are irreversible.
