David Raya has done something only three goalkeepers before him have managed in the history of the Premier League. The Arsenal number one has claimed his third consecutive Golden Glove award, racking up 19 clean sheets across 37 matches in the 2025/26 season. The award, given annually to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in a Premier League campaign, now places Raya alongside Pepe Reina, Joe Hart, and Ederson as the only players to win three in a row. The numbers behind the streak Raya’s 19 clean sheets this season represent a significant jump from his previous two Golden Glove campaigns. In 2023/24, he posted 16 clean sheets, a tally strong enough to win the award outright. The following season was tighter: he managed 13, sharing the honor with Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels.
