Liquidity providers pocketed $10.98 million in fees for their trouble. How the numbers break down The first quarter of 2026 did most of the heavy lifting. Q1 alone accounted for roughly $1.1 billion of that total volume, with around $12 million in fees generated during the period. Bitcoin price swings were the primary catalyst. When BTC gets volatile, traders flock to instruments that let them capture yield without getting wrecked by impermanent loss, which is precisely what Yield Basis was designed for. Total value locked in the protocol sits between $130 million and $180 million as of mid-August 2026.
