CoinEx will wind down its crypto exchange beginning September 15 and fully cease operations on December 22 amid a prolonged market downturn that has reduced trading activity and pressured industry businesses. As noted, the platform will stop accepting new registrations and new subscriptions or orders for fiat, margin trading, loans, Earn, staking and strategic trading on September 15. Non-spot services will end on September 22, while spot trading will cease on September 29. CoinEx will also shut down CoinEx Smart Chain and OneSwap and repurchase all remaining CET in user accounts at 0.005 USDT per CET.
