Coinbase adds support for GRVT deposits ahead of trading

Coinbase has announced it will support deposits for GRVT, the native token of hybrid on-chain trading platform Grvt. The deposits will go live once the asset issuer unlocks token transfers, a step that typically precedes full trading support on the exchange. The move places Coinbase among a growing list of exchanges positioning themselves to offer GRVT trading. KuCoin is set to begin GRVT/USDT trading on July 30, 2026, and Bybit has also signaled its involvement with the token. What is Grvt and why does Coinbase care Grvt operates as a non-custodial, hybrid platform that blends on-chain infrastructure with the kind of trading experience you’d expect from a centralized exchange.
