A modular setup aims to make tokenized bonds follow SWIFT standards while moving across multiple blockchains Tokenized bonds have long had a translation problem. Blockchains speak code, banks speak SWIFT, and the two rarely share a dictionary. A new framework announced on November 4, 2026, is trying to fix that. Apex Group, T-REX Network, and the ERC-3643 Association have built a modular compliance framework for onchain bonds that aligns with SWIFT standards, and Chainlink supplies much of the plumbing. How the framework fits together The setup has three main layers, and each one handles a different job. First comes the asset standard. ERC-3643 defines identity, eligibility, and transfer requirements at the level of the asset itself. Second comes the home base. Assets get deployed on the T-REX Network, which serves as a centralized record, and can then be distributed across multiple blockchains. Third comes Chainlink, which contributes three separate products to the stack: Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP): moves ERC-3643 tokens between blockchains. Automated Compliance Engine (ACE): helps enforce the rules attached to each token. Data Streams: feeds real-time pricing da...
