Chainalysis has confirmed that an external attacker gained unauthorized access to some of its internal systems and tools, exposing customer information including user IDs, full names, email addresses, and organizational role labels. In a security disclosure published on October 30, the company said its investigation had found no evidence that more sensitive information was compromised. This includes investigation records, authentication credentials, passwords, multifactor authentication secrets, and user session tokens.
