Centrifuge, the decentralized protocol best known for bringing real-world assets onto blockchain rails, has floated a proposal that would let CFG token holders convert their tokens into equity or equity-like instruments in the underlying entity. The proposal is currently in a 14-day comment period on Centrifuge’s governance forum, seeking community feedback before any formal vote takes place. CFG currently serves as the sole governance and value-accruing token for the entire Centrifuge protocol.
