The decisive point is one the announcement does not mention: for a large share of the listed crypto assets, withdrawal is already switched off today. Our own measurement of the public BitMart interface on August 22, 2026 shows 1,513 of 3,898 coin-network combinations as withdrawable, which is 38.8 percent.
