Bitcoin is back under pressure after the Federal Reserve’s September rate increase, with BTC reported at $83,100 on September 30, down 0.9%. For anyone watching the near-term Bitcoin price forecast, the next test is the August personal consumption expenditures (PCE) inflation report, due today: a hot reading could reinforce higher-for-longer expectations, while a softer one may ease the squeeze on risk assets. The policy-rate target rose to 3.75%–4.00% on September 16, and the 10-year Treasury yield reached 5.24% on September 28.
