Bitcoin ETFs see cumulative net flows at $55B, down from $63B peak

The US spot Bitcoin ETF market just got a reality check. Cumulative net inflows across all products have settled around $55B, a meaningful retreat from the roughly $63B peak hit back in October 2025. The figure also bounced up from a trough near $50B. The push and pull of ETF dollars Late August and early September 2026 saw a vigorous stretch of buying, with approximately $3.8B pouring into spot Bitcoin ETFs over roughly three weeks. That burst was strong enough to temporarily push total assets under management past the $101B threshold. Then the music slowed. Mid-September brought consecutive days of sharp outflows, including single-day net reductions of $296M and $450M on September 15 and 16 respectively. Total Bitcoin held across all ETF products currently sits around 649K BTC, with net asset values fluctuating between roughly $95B and $103B depending on Bitcoin’s price at any given moment. Winners, losers, and Grayscale’s ongoing exodus BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, ticker IBIT, continues to dominate. Its cumulative inflows have reportedly exceeded $63B on their own.
