Binance Wallet lets users pay gas fees in USDT across four major networks

One of crypto’s most persistent annoyances has a new workaround. Binance Wallet now accepts USDT as payment for network gas fees across BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON, meaning users no longer need to stockpile native tokens just to move their assets around. The problem this solves Binance Wallet’s USDT gas feature handles the underlying gas payment on the user’s behalf, deducting the equivalent cost in USDT instead of requiring the native token. Users moving TRC-20 assets on TRON, for instance, no longer need to hold TRX to execute those transfers. According to Binance’s FAQ, updated September 25, 2026, the supported networks are explicitly listed, and the feature applies to both USDT transfers and transactions involving other tokens on those chains. TRON gets a promotional push The TRON implementation comes with an added incentive. Binance announced a limited-time promotion, running from September 23 through December 22, 2026, during which qualifying TRON transfers pay zero gas fees. TRON DAO is backing that promotion.
