Amazon crossed the $3 trillion market capitalization threshold on August 3, making it the fifth company in history to reach that valuation. One day later, Jeff Bezos filed to sell approximately 15 million shares worth roughly $4.07 billion. The stock surged as much as 5.3% intraday on the back of strong Q2 earnings, with Amazon Web Services demand riding the AI wave. Amazon now stands alongside Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Alphabet in that exclusive group.
