Avalanche integrates with Paxos, expanding institutional access to AVAX

Regulated blockchain infrastructure firm Paxos added native AVAX to its Crypto Brokerage platform on July 15, 2026, bringing its total listed assets to 29. The move hands more than 650 institutions, including banks, broker-dealers, and fintech companies, a compliance-friendly on-ramp to Avalanche’s native token. Paxos operates under an OCC national trust charter and holds licenses from Finland’s FIN-FSA and Singapore’s MAS, which puts it in a different category from most crypto-native custodians. What the Paxos platform actually does Paxos’s Crypto Brokerage offering provides the trading and custody plumbing that financial institutions need to offer crypto services without building everything from scratch. PayPal and Nubank are among the platform’s existing clients, and through those partners, the infrastructure reaches hundreds of millions of end-users.
