AS Roma have completed the signing of Argentine defender Nahuel Molina from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth up to €18 million. The 28-year-old right-back has arrived in Rome and will sign a four-year contract running through June 2030. The transfer package breaks down to €13 million in guaranteed fees, with an additional €5 million available through performance-based add-ons. Molina’s annual salary is estimated between €2.7 million and €3 million. From Buenos Aires to Rome, the long way around Molina came through the youth ranks at Boca Juniors before making the leap to European football with Udinese in 2020. Two seasons in Udine were enough to catch the eye of Atletico Madrid, who brought him to La Liga in 2022. He spent four seasons under Diego Simeone’s system before completing his move to Roma. By mid-2026, he had accumulated 65 caps for the Argentine national team, scoring once along the way.
