AS Roma is in early-stage discussions to bring Brazilian striker Endrick from Real Madrid on a loan deal with an option to buy. The 20-year-old forward, who cost Real Madrid an initial €35 million plus up to €25 million in potential add-ons when he transferred from Palmeiras in July 2024, has struggled for playing time at the Bernabéu. The football side of the equation Endrick, born July 21, 2006, arrived at Real Madrid as one of the most hyped teenage prospects in South American football. The initial transfer fee of €35 million from Palmeiras made him one of the most expensive teenage signings in the sport’s history, with add-ons potentially pushing the total to €60 million. Endrick found himself behind an embarrassment of riches in Real Madrid’s forward line, unable to crack into consistent minutes during the 2025-26 season. The club loaned him to Lyon from December 23, 2025, through June 2026, where he managed five goals in limited appearances. Now Roma, under manager José Mourinho, is looking to bring Endrick in on loan with a buy option as part of the club’s squad-building strategy for the 2026-27 season.
