Anthropic launches Claude Academy to teach AI skills at scale

Anthropic launched Claude Academy on Thursday, a new education platform designed to help individuals and organizations learn how to use artificial intelligence safely and effectively. The platform provides courses, tutorials and practical use cases covering Claude as well as broader concepts that are not tied to a specific AI model or product. Anthropic said the curriculum draws from the same approach it uses to train its own employees. New hires are introduced to the company’s 4D AI Fluency Framework, techniques for managing what AI agents know and methods for deciding which tasks should be delegated to AI. The company also teaches employees how to recognize common AI mistakes and review generated work based on the level of risk involved. Claude Academy focuses on broader principles rather than specific product features, which Anthropic said can quickly become outdated as models improve. The curriculum encourages users to decide intentionally which tasks should be handled by AI and which should remain with humans.
