Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI models, has brought Citigroup into its IPO preparations, adding another heavyweight to a banking syndicate that already includes Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase. The company filed a confidential S-1 with the SEC on June 1, 2026, officially setting the IPO machinery in motion. With a post-money valuation of $965B from its Series H funding round, Anthropic is positioning itself for a Nasdaq listing that could arrive as soon as October 2026.
