American Bitcoin Corp posted a $57.2 million net loss in the second quarter of 2026, even as the company pulled in $67 million in mining revenue. The silver lining, if you squint: its Bitcoin stash grew 14% to 8,002 BTC. The numbers in context Q2 was actually an improvement over Q1, when the company reported an $81.8 million net loss on just $62.1 million in revenue. So revenue jumped roughly 8% quarter-over-quarter while losses shrank by about 30%. ABTC’s Bitcoin holdings grew from over 7,000 BTC in March 2026 to 8,002 BTC by the end of June. That 14% increase in a single quarter suggests the company is mining and holding rather than selling into the market to cover operational costs.
