Alpha Modus announces plan to add over $200M in Bitcoin to its balance sheet

Alpha Modus Holdings (NASDAQ: AMOD), a vertical AI company focused on patented retail technologies, says it plans to add more than $200 million in Bitcoin assets to its balance sheet. For a company with a market capitalization of roughly $19 million, that’s an ambitious target, to put it gently. Alpha Modus went public through a SPAC-style business combination that closed in December 2024. Since then, shares have traded on Nasdaq under the ticker AMOD, most recently around $3.80 per share. The company reported a net loss of $2.15 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026. For the first half of that fiscal year, losses totaled $6.17 million. Back in May 2025, Alpha Modus announced it would allocate 25% of its future revenues toward acquiring digital assets, with Bitcoin as the primary target. The initial investment at that time was described as $250,000. Now the company is talking about transactions that would add more than $200 million in Bitcoin. That figure is roughly ten times the company’s entire market capitalization.
