AI² Robotics eyes Hong Kong IPO after raising over $890M for humanoid robots

A company that didn’t exist three years ago is now sitting on a valuation of roughly $3 billion and eyeing a public listing. AI² Robotics, the Shenzhen-based humanoid robot maker founded in April 2023, is considering a Hong Kong IPO as it looks to capitalize on surging investor appetite for automation and AI-driven industrial solutions. From zero to $3 billion in three years AI² Robotics’ trajectory has been, to put it mildly, aggressive. Founded by Yandong Guo, the company builds wheeled humanoid robots called AlphaBot and develops an AI system known as the Alpha Brain VLA model, both designed for industrial applications. The financial milestones tell the story. The company completed a Series B funding round of approximately $144 million at a valuation of roughly $1.45 billion. Then in June 2026, it raised between $735 million and $738 million in a round that pushed the valuation to approximately $2.8 billion to $3 billion. Total funding raised now exceeds $890 million. The company completed a joint-stock reform in April 2026, a procedural step in China that is widely understood as a precursor to filing for an IPO.
